HISTORY OF THE CHURCH:

In obedience to the Holy Spirit, L.I.F.E. Church, Inc., was conceived and birthed by Reverend Otis N. White, Jr., in September 2012. Hence, Rev. White is the Sr. Pastor and Founder. L.I.F.E. Church is a Non-Profit Corporation which was organized in accordance to and with the laws of the State of Georgia. L.I.F.E. Church is properly registered with the Secretary of State of Georgia.

After organizing the Church, Rev. White subsequently applied for Non Profit Tax exempt Status in order to be recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501 © (3) Non-Profit Organization.

In February 2014, the IRS accepted and granted L.I.F.E. Church’s application as a federally recognized Public Charity, which means that L.I.F.E. Church is exempt from taxation, with an effective date of September 13, 2012.

Rev. White is affectionately and fondly called “Pastor Otis” by the membership of L.I.F.E. Church. Under the guidance and leadership of “Pastor Otis”, the Church has grown not only numerically but spiritually as well. Within the two (2) years of its existence, L.I.F.E. Church has embarked upon several endeavors, to include the establishment of an outreach ministry in the Morrow, GA community. To date, L.I.F.E. Church has partnered with local schools and universities to service the needs of the community. In the short time that L.I.F.E. Church existed, the Church has accomplished the feats of donating computers to B.C. Haynie elementary School, contributing and supplying lunch to Clayton State College students, as well as co-hosting the Spring Festival with Chase Village Apartments, wherein food and gifts were donated to participants.

“Pastor Otis” and L.I.F.E. Church is a “tithing church” which regularly and cheerfully supports the Georgia Baptist Convention Cooperative Program and supports foreign missions in India and Jamaica.
